SHOWTIME!!!!!

W.A.L.T : put it all together
PLAN!!!
Had to get dressed quickly, was in such a rush, had no time to sit down, thought I had lost my things, was in a small squishy dressing room, the dressing room was all hot and very stuffy, we did'nt have to share a dressing room with the boys, I was panicking.

Writing!!!

OH NO!!! I've only got one song to get dressed and ready for Halloween and the dressing room is really hot and stuffy.

I quickly tug my hideous Halloween costume on and rush to the black silky wings were I could see people already lining up to go on stage. OK finally the dance is finished now I have to go and rush into my black box costume.

OK now I've got to take my sparkly sewed-on sequin headband off and find my hairbrush.OH NO!!!! where is my hairbrush????? I search through my bag.AH HA !!! found you . Now I've got to tie my hair up into a high ponytail.Where's my sequin hair tie??? PHEW!! I'm ready now.

I rush back downstairs and wait in the wings.PHEW!!! I'm just in time to dance.

W.A.L.T put it all together.

Bad weather in the weekends.

Brainstorming words : I couldn't go outside, I was bored, It was raining hard out, nothing to do, I sat down and read my book, The thunder was making my ears sore and hard for me to concentrate on my book,

My simille I'm going to use: as loud as a stampede of elephants rushing to get their breakfast.

I'M SOOOOO BORED!!!! The rain was pouring down really hard out.I was bored so I sat down to read my very interesting book.It was called geronimo stilton and the kingdom of fantasy.SUDDENLY..... BANG!!!!! What was that??? Oh it's just thunder. I went back to reading my book.By now the thunder was getting louder and louder it was as loud as a stampede of elephants rushing to get their breakfast.I stopped reading my book and stared out the window. On the road I had seen all the leaves and the flowers that had been washed away by the heavy rain.It was very deep.I put my raincoat on and walked downstairs to the garage and had seen that the water had flooded the garage.I saw soggy wet cardboard boxes and wet storage.I went over to the wall and I could see how high the wild water had gone.It was incredebly high!!!

W.A.L.T make tired writing come to life.

It was the night of Halloween. The sound of black bats and vampires made Emily's legs turn to jelly as she fell to the hard concrete footpath. Emily got up and she tiptoed fearfully and slowly into the dusky dark spooky haunted house that was standing right beside her. It's roof was all ripped and fallen apart it looked like it had red bloodshot eyes.Shivers came trembling down Emily's boney spine as she slowly crept closer and closer inside the house. Emily reached into her brand new purple Kathmandu rucksack for her girly pink torch but suddenly................. she felt ghostly fingers creeping up her arm which made her freeze to a sudden stop.

Shaking Earth

Why were there no deaths in such a big earthquake?
There were no deaths because it was sooo strong that people felt it so they got out quick enough to avoid themselves from being hit by things and to avoid death so that is why there were no deaths in the christchurch earthquake.
Backround information:
The major and powerful 7.1 earthquake smashed buildings, cracked roads and twisted railway tracks around Christchurch.
At least 500 buildings, including 90 properties in Christchurch have been destroyed in the earthquake that happened at 4:35 a.m. on Saturday in the region of Canterbury. The earthquake shattered glass and made chimneys and walls of older buildings crumble onto the ground. The prime minister said it was a miracle no one was killed.Roger Bates, whose dairy farm at Darfield was close to the earthquake's epicenter he said the new fault line had ripped up the surface across his land. The earthquake is about the same size as the Haiti earthquake but the damage is not as bad because the houses in haiti were badly built.
Christchurch fireman Mike Bowden said haeps of people had been trapped in buildings by fallen chimneys and blocked entrances. Rescue teams with sniffer dogs are continuing to check the houses. They reckon there were 100 after shocks. Parked cars were crushed by heaps of falling bricks. There were two men who were badly injured, one man was crushed by a chimmney and the other guy was badly cut by falling glass but they did not die.

Sad faces coming from the city of christchurch when the major earthquake struck at 4:35 on saturday morning .Badly injured people rushing to the hospital.Houses collapsed or badly damaged.
After the major earhquake there were 100 after shocks. Hopefully people will get their houses back and live a good life again. Just hoping there won't be another major earhquake as big as this one or even another one again.
